Screw Conveyor
Screw Conveyors are a highly versatile system that may transport powdered or granular materials in a variety of ways. Screw Conveyors are made of carbon steel and finished to a high standard. They are made up of a tubular trough with at least one inlet and outlet spout, an end plate at each tubular trough end, helicoid screw flighting welded on a centre pipe with coupling bush at each end, two end bearing assemblies with adjustable shaft seals, and a number of intermediate hanger bearings, depending on the overall length of the screw conveyor.
Tubular Screw Conveyors also come with a gear motor that is adequate for the purpose. Tubular Screw Conveyors are available in light, medium, and heavy-duty designs, depending on the material to be handled.
